I can take THE raw AUDIO THAT you've recorded IN any professional or home studio and turn IT into incredible, polished-sounding tracks THAT WILL TRANSLATE PERFECTLY TO ANY LISTENING SYSTEM.
You've already invested a decent amount of time and money to get your music recorded—not to mention the cost of all those rehearsals. So really, on top of all that, do you then need to hire someone else to mix your music?
Well unless you or anyone else in your team is a skilled mixing engineer, the answer is definitely YES! And the fact that you've already poured so much of your creativity, time and resources into getting your music this far, makes it even more important to do so.
I will take the your raw tracks and create a professional sounding mix that will not just bring sonic clarity and definition to your recordings but it will not only make them sound more interesting but it will imbue them with more character—what some people call 'vibe'. Your songs will be better represented and translate to your listeners more effectively, across a wider range of listening systems, from high end hi-fi setups to the inexpensive, mid-rangey speakers on your laptop. You've already invested heavily to bring your creativity to life through your music. Surely, it deserves to sound as good as it possibly can?
Bigger, punchier and more detailed
Here's a short audio clip that compares a rough mix, which sent by a client for reference purposes, with the final stereo mix. The rough mix is typical of the kind of thing that bands and artists send and whilst it provides important information about the arrangement (panning, perspective, etc.) it’s muddy and lacks energy and character. In this case, replaced the stock Logic drums—recording live drums on the choruses and reprogramming the drums on the verses. The clip cuts between the rough mix and the final mix and both tracks have been volume matched to mitigate the effects of loudness bias.
